The following items were repaired, installed, or maintained by the "class crew" on June 28, 2003:

Signal Garden

The push button for the semaphore was installed in concrete with a metal bracket base.
This is being used to prevent the problems that have started to effect the other push button posts.
The Magnetic Wig-Wag push-button post was removed and replaced similar to the new semaphore post.
Allen returned several days later (after the concrete set) to finish up these two posts.
Wiring continues to be added. Next step is to complete wiring to the Searchlight and Semaphore and
get them "operational" -- probably just the light at first. Next scheduled work day is July 26.
Also Weeds cleared, and sprinklers tested and adjusted. |
