OERM Crossing Inspections

OERM has five (5) grade crossings with electriccal equipment protection. Two (2) of these crossings are public streets and therefore are regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. All public crossings must be inspected on a regular basis to maintain and insure proper operation and safety for the public. OERM applies the same level of design, maintenance, and inspection to all 5 crossings. Grade crossing inspections must be performed monthly with additional tests performed on a quarterly and annual basis. The five grade crossings are listed below along with the documents required to perform the inspections.
